She clings so tight
Hopes in her heart
Dreams in her eyes
Praying that she will be understood one day
That she will be loved one day
She will receive one day what she has been giving
Always a part of herself, she’s giving away
Losing a bit of her dignity every day
But for her pride lies so deep underneath her feet
Only when it comes to him
She’s ready to give anything
With dreams in her eyes
And love in her heart
She clings so tight
